Community Showcase
This month we are showcasing Stephanie!
Stephanie has been coming to Gosh Yarn It since Day One.
When it comes to crafts Stephanie really does it all. She enjoys knitting the most but she also crochets, does embroidery, needlepoint and cross stitch among many other things.
She learned to do many of these crafts as a child but didn't start knitting until 2004 when, as she puts it "I needed something to keep me occupied while my SO was deployed to Kuwait, and really wanted to learn to knit socks!" When it comes to knitting, she most likes to wear the items she makes. As she puts it, "I have been known to wear up to 8 knitted items at once!"
For Stephanie, Gosh Yarn It is all about the people.
"I have made a lot of friends at the shop, and it gets me out of the house and keeps me off the streets!" Here are just a few of the many items she has made this year:
Patricia knit this Spotlight Shawl using Meadow and Sheepyshire
Stephanie knit this Hesti Hat using stash yarn
Gina knit this Flax sweater using stash yarn
Isaac knit this Marshmallow cowl using Malabrigo Rios
